Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir is nestled amidst the huge lakes, meadows and unique floating gardens in the valley. Famous for its brilliant craftsmanship which has flourished over the centuries, this place is a hub of Woolen garments, Pashmina shawls, Handicrafts and Hand carved wooden furniture. During the winters, the craftsmen labor over these handicrafts and sell them to tourists visiting Kashmir during summers. The walnut furniture made in Kashmir is exquisite and work done on the furniture speaks about the Kashmiris patience and workmanship. Wood carving is another special and very unique art of the Kashmiri people.

Welcome to your 'Kashmir with Air - Ex Delhi' tour! Arrive into airport in Srinagar and you will be escorted to your Houseboat in Srinagar. Soak in the vistas of Kashmir as you proceed towards the houseboat. In the evening, go for a tranquil ride on the Shikara at Dal Lake (on sharing basis).
Today, after breakfast, proceed toward Pahalgam, the 'Valley of Shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of streams flowing from the River Lidder and Sheshnag Lake. En route visit the Awantipur Ruins. The famous Awantipur temple was built in the honour of God Mahadev by Awanti Varman. The Shiva - Avantishvara temple in Awantipura has massive walls beneath the town and therefore has great archaeological significance. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
This morning, after breakfast, drive to Chandanwari and Betaab valley. The drive to the village is breathtaking. The location of the village amongst the grasslands, make this place a visual delight. Proceed for Betaab Valley, originally called the Hajan Valley. Post the filming of the 1983 Bollywood blockbuster - 'Betaab' at this location, Hajan was renamed Betaab. Since the discovery of the Betaab Valley, it has become a film-maker's favourite locale for romantic films. The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.
This morning, after breakfast drive to Srinagar. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Post lunch, proceed for sightseeing at Nishat Bagh, the second largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir and Shalimar Bagh, linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake on its right bank located near Srinagar. Visit Pari Mahal also known as Quntilon is a historic monument overseeing the beautiful Chashma Shahi Gardens near Srinagar. This ancient monument brings out the architectural brilliance of the fore gone eras. Visit the Shankaracharya Temple - A beautiful Shiva temple situated at the picturesque location of the Gopadari Hill, South East of Srinagar
This morning proceed to Gulmarg, driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the 'meadow of flowers' is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden spot. It offers a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers, gigantic firs and pine trees. Take a leisurely stroll or pony rides (on direct payment) across the green meadows to one of the world's highest Golf Courses. Later take a fun-filled Gondola ride (First Level). Return to Srinagar in the evening. Note: En-route lunch wil be provided between 1400 - 1500 hours depending upon Gondola queue. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Nishat Bagh (Urdu: نشات باغ‎, is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close to Srinagar in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. The largest in size is the Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake. ‘Nishat Bagh’ is Urdu, which means "Garden of Joy," "Garden of Gladness" and "Garden of Delight."
