Welcome to your Valley of Flowers tour! Upon arrival at Airport / Railway Station in Delhi, you will proceed to Haridwar. Upon arrival at Haridwar, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the city (on your own). In the evening, you can witness the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight in Haridwar
Today, after breakfast, proceed to Joshimath. Enjoy the beautiful drive through medicinal forest. On arrival, check-in to your camp. The rest of the evening is at leisure for you to explore Joshimath (on your own). Overnight in Joshimath
Today, you will drive to small settlement of Govindghat (1800 mtrs). This is where the ascent to the Valley of Flowers begins. From Govindghat, you will be crossing a suspension bridge over the Alaknanda. A 3 km trek brings one to the small village Pulna with basic facilities to tourists. The next 9 km trek from Pulna to Govind Dham (Ghangaria) is for the most part along the Bhyundar Ganga. This route is punctuated with waterfalls, wild flowers, forests and beautiful landscapes. On the way, there is one smaller migratory village, Bhyundar, named after the river and surrounded by dense broadleaf moist temperate forest. The last stretch is a steep ascent to Govind Dham. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ghangharia
Today trek up to the most picturesque and species rich meadows which are located towards higher altitudes on south facing slopes of Kunt Khal and areas above Drunager. Trek to Valley of Flowers (altitude approx. 3658 mts) and return to Ghangaria for the night (approx 10kms). The rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight in Ghangharia
Today after breakfast, start your trek from Ghangharia to Govindghat. The trek route is of 13 kms. On reaching Govindghat, you will be transferred to your camp in Joshimath. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Joshimath
After breakfast, proceed to Rishikesh. The town of Rishikesh lies in the foothills of the Himalayas of the Garhwal region. It is the starting point for the Char Dham pilgrimage (Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath) and an ideal destination not only for pilgrims but also for the people who are interested in adventure, medtation, yoga and other aspects of Hinduism. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Rishikesh
